We invite you to an Économie & Finance Breakfast, hosted by Florence Bonnevay (ENSAE 1984), with Bruno Bensasson, author of L'économie n'est pas qu'une affaire d'argent (Presse des Mines).

Our guest: Bruno Bensasson
A graduate engineer from theÉcole Polytechnique and theÉcole des Mines de Paris, Bruno Bensasson has held numerous positions of responsibility in the energy and industry sectors. After starting out at the FrenchNuclear Safety Authority, he served as technical advisor to the French Ministry of Industry and then to the French President. He then joined the SUEZ group, now ENGIE, where he headed the economic studies department before joining the Executive Committee. From 2018 to 2024, he wasEDF 's Executive Director in charge of renewable energies and CEO ofEDF Renouvelables. Since April 2024, he has been an independent consultant in the energy industry.
He is also the author of the book L'économie n'est pas qu'une affaire d'argent - Comprendre l'économie autrement, published by Presses des Mines in December 2023, a regular columnist for Les Echos and a part-time lecturer in higher education.
