Time: 8:30am to 10:00am
Venue: Banque Transatlantique, 26 Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt 75008 Paris

Thematic breakfast: "Transition from SAS to open source software".

On February 6, we'll be delighted to welcome Pierre Lamarche (ENSAE 2011), who will present INSEE's approach to the transition from SAS to open-source software.

Since 2023, Pierre has been in charge of this vast project to modernize statistical processes:

  • Translate the corpus of older SAS programs into open source languages such as R or Python.
  • Disseminate the new development standards for data science to all users.

In a context where public institutions are exploring new approaches to combining innovation, digital sovereignty and efficiency, this feedback will be a valuable source of inspiration for all Alumni who are considering such a transition, or who have already begun it.

Speaker : Pierre LAMARCHE (ENSAE 2011)

Moderator: Romain AEBERHARDT (ENSAE 2003)

We look forward to welcoming you to this enriching exchange, in the elegant surroundings of Banque Transatlantique.
