Pierre Poncet has been elected President of EACT (Euro Association of Corporate Treasurers), the European Association of Corporate Treasurers. He succeeds François Masquelier. Pierre Poncet, sixty-three, a graduate of Ensae and the Carnegie Mellon Institute in Pittsburgh, spent many years as Director of Treasury and Credit Management at Ciba. He joined AFTE in 1980 and was appointed General Delegate in June 2002. (Les Echos)
