Dear alumni,
The internationalization of careers and the globalization of higher education have made it urgent for the grandes écoles to evolve. The national landscape is changing rapidly, and Ensae is now at the heart of two ambitious projects: ParisTech and the Fondation du Risque, both focused on teaching and research. We'll be coming back to these transformations in more detail in the next Variances, but let's not forget to salute these initiatives.
This is happening at a time when the Ensae professions are in the spotlight. Polls, program costings, unemployment estimates... the presidential campaign is accelerating criticism of the totemic power of figures. This is an opportunity for us to inaugurate
a new section devoted to the life of figures. You are of course invited to contribute your own analyses!
Without fanfare, we celebrate the thirtieth issue of Variances! This entry into maturity (!?) is an opportunity to celebrate with you the bond that has united Ensae alumni for 13 years.
I can only hope that many of us will meet again on June 14 at the top of the Montparnasse Tower for our Annual General Meeting, and that the association's dynamism will inspire many vocations among Variances readers:
Join the association's board!
