Justin Vaïsse is Senior Fellow in Foreign Policy and the Director of Research of the Brookings Center on the United States and Europe. An adjunct professor at SAIS (Johns Hopkins University), Vaïsse specializes in European affairs, including Islam in France, and of U.S. foreign policy, including its intellectual history
Jonathan Laurence is a Professor of Political Science at Boston College. A member of the Washington based Brookings Institution as well as the New York based Council on Foreign Relations, he is also an occasional consultant for the State Department.
Justin Vaïsse and Jonathan Laurence are co-authors of the book "Integrating Islam - Political and Religious Challenges in Contemporary France". (Washington DC : Brookings Press, 2006)
