1st work session in preparation for the trip to China

The Fédération FRANCE ENTREPRENEURS, in cooperation with the Club Asie de l'IAE de Paris, wants to enable its member entrepreneurs to reflect together on their strategy in the face of globalization, which will affect all companies with or without international activities, followed by a professional trip to China, with meetings of Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs established in China. This will also give them the opportunity to visit the SHANGHAI World Expo, a showcase for all the countries of the world that will have their pavilion in Shanghai. Globalization is not just about "France and CHINA", but also about all the emerging countries that are developing around the world. Other cities will follow. The trip will take place in September 2010, but must be preceded by four working sessions on the following sectors of activity: -construction and environment -automotive and industry -luxury and distribution -communication and NTIC With the participation of : CHEN Gang from the Chinese Embassy in Paris, who will tell us about the World Expo, what China expects from it, and what each country brings to it. As the Expo's theme is "A better city, a better life", this ties in with the first theme, "construction and the environment". CAO Shu, a Franco-Chinese architect and urban planner who can answer your questions about building in CHINA. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire to find out what you would like to find out more about in the group and during the trip. In addition to the exhibition, we are planning a series of visits and professional activities: - visits to Chinese and foreign companies based there, in particular a subsidiary of a French company, which will provide us with feedback - Visits to construction sites and projects - Meetings with Chinese authorities - Economic conferences. On March 24, we'll be making proposals along these lines for SHANGHAI and the other cities we'll be visiting. If you are planning to take part in the trip, you are welcome to help shape its activities according to your concerns at this stage of the project. Mr. JF ZHOU, director of the Ansel agency, and Elisabeth CASTEL, head of the Asia Club, will respond to your requests in this respect.
