ENSAE Sol'Foot Tournament
ENSAE Solidaire's annual rendezvous
The ENSAE Sol'Foot Challenge is a soccer match held in the spring, in which students and alumni from ENSAE and ENSAI compete against each other.
Beyond the sporting challenge, the competitors have chosen to pool their energies to support MOBIL'douche 's innovative action by financing the purchase of the first sanitary care vehicle equipped with showers for the homeless.
MOBIL'douche aims to make hygiene accessible to people living on the streets, offering them the chance to take a shower in a new type of vehicle fitted out for the purpose: the "MOBIL' douche ".
The aim of the Challenge in 2011 is to raise 12,000 euros to finance the very first "MOBIL' shower ", which is due to begin its rounds in autumn 2011.
The ENSAE Sol'Foot Challenge is a soccer tournament held under the following conditions:
-
The Challenge takes place on Saturday May 21, 2011 between 1pm and 6pm at Stade Marcel Cerdan (Malakoff).
-
Sixte tournament (6 outfield players and 1 goalkeeper).
-
8 teams compete in 2 x 10-minute matches.
-
Two pools are formed (one-way matches), with the top 2 from each pool advancing to the semi-finals and then the final.
-
The "8 of hearts rule": in pool matches, the team with the most donations starts the match with a one-goal lead. In the final phase, this rule is used to decide between teams in the event of a draw at the end of regulation time.
