Appointments - Sébastien Gilles is appointed Group Chief Accountant of CNP Assurances.

Sébastien Gilles is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE (Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Économique) in 2011, and is a certified actuary of the Institute of Actuaries. He is also Ingénieur en chef des Mines.

He began his career at the ACPR, where he worked for 7 years as an insurance supervisor, then as deputy head of the brigade in charge of European and foreign insurers. In 2019, he joined CNP Assurances as project manager to the Group CFO, before taking over as head of the Group Actuarial Function and Finance Programs in 2021; in particular, he piloted the IFRS 17 and CSRD projects.

He is also a lecturer in actuarial science at the Centre d'études actuarielles.

He will take up the position of Group Chief Accountant in September 2024.
